A look at the relationship between Sage and Brooklyn from the series Utopia Falls (Hulu). This show grew on me. I will admit that it was slow at the start, but it picked up and by the final episode, I was fully invested. They left us with a cliffhanger that promised great things for a potential Season 2, even though a renewal looks unlikely.
Sage and Brooklyn were a bright spot. Introduced as love interests from the start and with a season-long arc that focused on their relationship, but also on them as individual characters. I have a soft spot for them as they are one of the few (the only, actually) ship that reflects my real-life interracial relationship. It’s rare to see pairings like them on TV.
